10 Days Rwanda Safari from $5850 per person for 2023

Leave Kigali in the morning for a transfer to Nyungwe National Park. Pass via the Murambi genocide memorial for a brief tour and then proceed with an en route stop over at the Nyanza Palace and Butare Museum. Proceed to Nyungwe arriving in the afternoon.

After an early breakfast go for a briefing at the park headquarters and then head to the forest for chimpanzee tracking. See the chimps in their natural habitats as well as other wildlife in the forest. Return for a lunch break and later go for a canopy walk where you will enjoy endless views of the forest and some wildlife in the top canopy layers of the forest.

You will go for colobus monkey tracking on this day exploring more of the primates in Nyungwe forest. Have a lunch break and later go for a nature walk enjoying the scenic views and sights and sounds of nature.

After breakfast depart for Volcanoes National Park with en route stop over for photography at places of interest. Arrive in time for lunch, relax at your lodge and later go for cycling.

This is the most anticipated day as you head for gorilla trekking. Start with a briefing at the park headquarters and then head to the forested mountains. Once you get to the gorillas stay in their presence of the gorillas for an hour and later return. In the evening go for a cultural tour where you will discover more about the Rwandan local culture.

Go for the Dian Fossey Hike where you will hike up to where Dian Fossey was buried near her favorite gorilla digit. You will see a number of wildlife species while on the hike and then later return for a rest at the lodge. If you are not tired you can go for a village walk.

Head out for golden monkey tracking and meet other rare primates species the golden monkeys. Return by mid-day and then transfer to Kigali arriving in the evening.

After breakfast at your hotel go for a Kigali city tour visiting the Kigali genocide museum, local market and other places of interest. Have a lunch break and then head to Akagera National park and have a game drive as you head to your lodge.

You will go for an early morning game drive to catch up with the early risers. Explore the northern sector of the park with highest wildlife concentration of wildlife. Return for lunch and later go for a boat cruise along Lake Ihema where you will see a number of wildlife including hippos, crocodiles as well as a number of birds.

Have a game drive as you exit the park for a transfer back to Kigali for a drop off at the hotel or airport for departure if on schedule.
