Queen Elizabeth National Park covers 1,978 sq km and is Uganda's most popular safari destination. The park is named after Queen Elizabeth II and spans the equator, offering diverse landscapes from volcanic craters to tropical forests. The Kazinga Channel, connecting Lakes Edward and George, is home to one of Africa's highest concentrations of hippos and Nile crocodiles.
